Kyle's Mission Call

Just wanted to let everyone know that Kyle Hymas, (son of Troy and Mindi Hymas, grandson of Clarence Beal), got his mission call to the Ecuador, Quito mission! He leaves Sept. 2. Kyle is so excited! He couldn't have wished for a better call. So now it is work, work, work until then! We are so excited for him, and are already planning our trip down there to pick him up in two years! :) We will see everyone next month!

A MESSAGE FROM NELDA

At last I got my E Mail working. Things are coming along much better now, Leon is walking just caring his cane, that's in case he needs it. I'm expecting four greatgrandchildren by Sept, Three are girls and we don't know what the fourth one is yet. Isn't that going to be fun? All my children are doing pretty good . Rodney is having his problems and still waiting for a kidney, He's not on the waiting list because they thought he had heart problems, but they have that taken care of now so hope he'll get on the waiting list. Won't be long until the reunion so if you need any thing for the treasure hunt, fish pond, crafts or etc. let me know. If I don't hear from you before I order, around the middle of May, I'll just order something.

Hi Everybody..
It's good that some are putting news on the Beal Blogg. I really
enjoy reading them. We are doing good. The work is progressing well.
we have baptized s girl, age 25 and what a transformation she has
made. It's so wonderful to see how lives change when they accept and
live the Gospel of Christ. We are teaching six others and are hoping
they will get baptized soon.
We had a wonderful surprise when Jason and Nikki brought their family
down the week before Easter. Nikki was recuperating from an
appendicitis operation and Jason took a couple days off. They now
have five kids in their family. They have taken two little girls age
four and eight that their parents don't want the responsibility for.
I really admire them for doing it, there are so many kids that have
dysfunctional families. Drew, Jase and Ryli are so good to them. Nikki
has them in cheer leading, and gymnastics to boost their self esteem
and it's working well.
It snowed six inches the Saturday they were here, but we all had a
good time. I took them to a little store in Nucla and let each of
them buy stuff (junk) to entertain them. My wall is partly covered
with the pictures they colored for us. We sure miss our family.
Jason and Bryce have been digging a water line and laying pipe for
circles (four of them) for Brent's farm (Brent is the Nephew that we
sold most of our farm too) they are also going to take it down to our
pastures on the river bottom.
Bryce stopped in on his way to Louisiana to a directional drilling
job he was on in March..it was exciting to have him for a few hours.
Work has really slowed down in the Basin since your president shut
down most all the oil drilling.??? He's scary!!!
Hope all is well with all of you and yours. Just wish we were going
to be at the reunion, it's going to be hard not to be there for us. We
hope you like the new area and will have it next year so we can see
what it is like also.
Love to all of you.
Elder and Sister Gilbert (LeGrand and Nancy).

We have another grandbaby. Daniel and Katie had their first, a girl. Emilie weighed in at 9 pounds 4 ounces, 21 inches long. Born April 6. AND of course she is darling. Daniel and Katie are presently in the DC area training for their next assignment, Indonesia. Daniel is learning the language and Katie is attending classes as much as new baby allows. They will be leaving in August sometime.

Allen moved his family to the DC area in March. He was offered a job he just couldn't refuse. He is working for a company that does intellegence contracts for the government. He's going to Iraq the end of this month for 2-3 months to do some training. He'll be living on camp Freedom able to enjoy all the amenities that offers. I think he will be the one that takes the gathered intellengence and writes the report that will be submitted to the Army or whomever. He is way excited. Kris and the kids are enjoying the area and all it has to offer, things like green trees, green grass, rain, flowers...you get the idea.

Richard and I are heading out that way to see the new baby and the other grandkids and oh yes visit with their parents a bit.
